How to ask us to delete your data
This page explains how to ask Retrieverworks LTD to delete what we hold about you, including anything you sent to the Micklegate Lettings demonstration. Micklegate Lettings is fictitious; the assistant and the records behind it are ours.
How to ask
Email privacy@retrieverworks.co.uk with the subject line Delete my data.
To find what is yours, please tell us:
- how you reached us: the demonstration’s website chat, WhatsApp, a phone call, email or Instagram;
- the phone number, email address or Instagram handle you used, if any;
- roughly when you wrote, and, for the website chat, the demo persona’s name if you remember it.
You don’t need to give a reason, and there is no charge.
What happens next
We confirm we have your request, delete what we hold and answer within one month. If we need something more to find your conversation, we will ask, and the month runs from when we have it.
Some copies sit with companies that process data for us. Where one of them lets us delete a copy early, we ask it to as part of your request; where it doesn’t, its copy stays until its own retention period ends. Our answer says what is already deleted and which company may still hold a copy, and until when. The demo privacy notice names each of them and how long they keep it.
Conversations with the demonstration are also deleted automatically, within eight days of your last message, so you may find there is little left to delete by the time you ask.
If you messaged us on Instagram and want nothing further to reach us, you can block our account from yours. Blocking does not delete what we already received; for that, email us as above.
